Why did Sangkuriang love her mother

There could be several plausible cause why Sangkuriang loved his mother because a son would naturally still remember what his mother looked like despite having lost contact for years. The most common reason is that he had gone for so long that he had forgotten about his mother, who happened to stay young and gorgeous. The other reason could be that he was blinded by his mother beauty so much that he became so lustful of her, or he was magically blinded by a supernatural force that he didn't realise it was her long lost mother.
What is even more suprising is why Dayang Sumbi, the mother, couldn't realise that it was her son until they got married. A true mother would be able to recognise her son although being separated for long as her emotional attachment to him and natural instinct. So, she could probably be not a good mother, like to date someone younger than her or she had become a slave of her own desire for being loved by a strong and powerful young man as Sangkuriang.
